Book your wedding photography with Ross MacLaren for professional photos of your wedding day.
As early as possible catch up with Ross and talk about what photos are important to you along with the pre-wedding, wedding and reception venue(s) so he can look for locations in and around the venue(s) to add interest and fun to your photos. Ross will look at the time of day in the wedding schedule and check the locations for lighting and if there may be any potential issues such as a lot of windows or reflective surfaces which can make photography difficult where a simple curtain, backdrop or change in angle can really improve those captured memories. A few props can also make a great difference for instance a parasol can make a photo into an instant classic.
Soft ground – use clear heel covers that stop heels sinking into soft ground
Tide – check the tides for weddings based near tidal water
Shade and shelter – for outdoor weddings try to provide shade from the sun and shelter from wind and rain
Catering – advise the celebrant, photographer, dj, band, etc if food is being provided or they need to bring food.
